                   Abstract Inordertoex p lorethea pp licationoffertilizerandp esticidereduction , ex p erimentswith
               twofactorsandthreelevelswereconductedtocom p aretheeffectsofdifferentfertilizerandp esticidereG
               ductioncombinationsontheincidenceofmaindiseasesandp estsandy ieldinrice.Theresultsshowed
               thatthereductionoffertilizertendedtoreducetheincidenceofdiseaseandinsects , whereasthereduction
               of p esticideshadatendenc y toincreasetheincidenceofdiseaseandinsects.Theincidenceofricesheath
               bli g ht , fourthg enerationricep lantho pp er , andriceleafborerwassi g nificantl yaffectedb y thereduction
               offertilizer.B ycontrast , theincidenceofricesheathbli g ht , thirdGandfourthG g enerationricep lantho p G
               p er , andriceleafborerwassi g nificantl yaffectedb y thereductionof p esticide.However , bothreduction
               offertilizerandp esticidehadnosi g nificanteffectontheincidenceofriceblast , ricefalsesmut , andrice
               borer.Thereductionoffertilizerwitha pp roximatel y30% si g nificantl yaffectedricey ield , leadin g tothe
               harvest y ieldreductionof10.29%.Com p aredwiththecontroltreatment , thereductionoffertilizerwith
               lessthan20%increasedtheharvest y ieldof g reenadditivealternativetreatmentandbiolo g ical p esticide
               alternativetreatment0.38% and2.49% , res p ectivel y .Itisindicatedthatbiolo g icalp esticideandg reen
               additivealternativetreatmentcanbeusedastechnicalmeasuresforreducin g thenumberofchemical p esG
               ticides.
