1. Set your manuscript in the following order: Chinese title, author’sname, author’s institution (inclusive ofsub-institution) andthecity, postal code, and province in which the institution is located, Chinese abstract (a report style is required, 300-500 words), keywords (3-8 words), body (including introduction, materials and methods, results and analysis, discussion), references, English title, author’s name(in Chinese Pinyin), author’s institution (inclusive of sub-institution), itspostal codeand the country where the institution is located, English abstract and keywords (corresponding to the Chinese ones); provide the degree, professional title, research direction and e-mail address of the first author and of the corresponding author in the footnote of the frontpage as well as the name of the related research project(s) and the serialnumber(s) of the project(s).
2. Academic terms, names, or technicalterms used in the text should be validated by the state, andthe weights and measures and their symbols used in the text should follow the international standard and national requirement. The measurement units, such as ppm, M, Da, are obsolete and instead, the symbols that meet the national standard, such as mg/kg (μL/L), mol/L, u, are used. The symbols of physical quantities should be all set in italics and the unit symbols in normal typeface. Alphabetical letters in the text shouldbe clearly presented whether they arein upper or lower case or in regularor italicized form. So are the letters, numbersand symbols set in superscript or subscript. Arabic numerals are preferred in the textwherever it is appropriate.
3. Figures and tables should be downsized if they can be explained in text. The content of the figures and that of the tables should not be duplicated. The figures and tablesshould be self-evident. Tables should bein three line form. Illustrations and photos should be clear, and the values for the vertical and horizontal axes in the figure should be rounded and evenly spaced, with the value marking lines facing inward; All the contentwithin or the captions above or below the figures and tables in the text should be written inboth Chinese and Englishlanguages, with a period added to the end of eachcaption.Headings of figures and columns of tablesshould follow the standard expressions of“quantity/unit”. If it is a combination unit, parentheses should be added, such as time/d, temperature/℃, concentration/(mol/L).
4. References should only include the most important and recently publisheddomestic and international literature that the author has read. For each entry, if the authorsdo not exceed 3, all their names will be listed. If an entry has more than 3 authors, the first 3 will be given followed by “et al.” For literature in languages other than Chinese, the surnames of the authors will be in full spelling and uppercase letters, followed only by the initial uppercase letter of the first name. For literature with more than 3 authors, the first 3 authors’names will be listed followed by “et al.” All the references shall adopt a sequential coding system, and the specific format is as follows:
① The consecutive publications (journals): the citation sequence number, the main authors, the title [J]. The publication name (can be abbreviated, with the initial letter capitalized), publication year, volume (issue): beginning and ending page numbers
② The monograph: the citation sequence number, the main authors. Book title [M]. Version (not required for the first edition) (or translator). Place of publication: Publisher, year of publication: beginning and ending page numbers
③ The literature extracted from the collected papers: the citation sequence number, the main authors. The title of the paper [C or G]//Editor. The name of the collection of papers. Place of publication: Publisher, year of publication: beginning and ending page numbers
④ The graduation thesis: the citation sequence number, the author. Title of the thesis: [D]. Storage location: Storage institution, year
⑤ The newspaper articles: the citation sequence number, the main authors.The title of the article [N]. The newspaper name, publication year, and publication date (edition)
⑥ The technical standard: the reference sequence number, person in charge of drafting. Standard number [S]. Year of publication, standard name, place of publication: publisher, year of publication
⑦Patent citation: the sequence number, patent owner, patent name, country, type of patent literature, patent number [P]. Publication date.
