The Journal of Huazhong Agricultural University is a core Chinese academic journal sponsored by Huazhong Agricultural University under the guidance and supervision of the Ministry of Education. It publishes research papers on crop genetic improvement and cultivation, microbiology, animal science, animal medicine, horticulture, forestry, plant protection, aquaculture, resources and environment, food and agricultural engineering, and high level reviews.
Precautions
1. Before submitting, read carefully the “Copyright License Agreement for Editorial Papers in Journal of Huazhong Agricultural University”(refer to the copyright agreement for specific content) http://hnxbl.cnjournals.net/hznydxzr/site/menus/20200714144846001 or to Attachment 1 of this submission guide. ) Your submission is deemed to agree to the aforementioned paper copyright license agreement, and before the publication of the paper, the editorial department will contact you to sign a paper copyright transfer agreement.
2. The submitted manuscript should be unpublished content. The article should have clear arguments, reliable data, and terse expressionswritten in third person, and lay stress on the author’s new methods, new ideas and new achievements. When submitting a manuscript, you should attach a letter of introduction of the author’s organization and the author’s profile (age, gender, technical title, research direction, etc.). The author’s organization is responsible for reviewing the confidentiality and order of signatures of the manuscript. If any projects related to the research paper are awarded after publication,please inform us by letter and send us a copy. Please providethe telephone number and e-mail address of the contact person and the first author.
3. The author(s) should be responsible for the content of one’s submission, strictly observing academic ethics, and if citing others’ materials in the text, the source should be given. After submitting a manuscript, the author is deemed to have agreed to authorize this journal to make minor textual modifications to the manuscript, and to have it reprinted and excerpted byother newspapers, journals, databases in print, CD, online, and in other forms.
4. Please log in to our website and submit your article online at http://hnxbl.cnjournals.net/hznydxzr/home. Click on the “Author Login”and follow the directionsto complete the submission steps. The researcharticlesshould be 5,000 to 10,000 words, and the review article should not exceed 15,000 words.
5. It usually takes 3 months from the reception ofthe manuscript to determining whether to accept it. After receiving the modification notice from the editorial department, the author should make modifications one by one based on the opinions proposed in the notice, and return the revised manuscript with one-to-one corresponding modification instructions to the editorial department beforethe deadline. If the revised manuscript is not returned to the editorial department through the submission system more than 3 months later or if no agreement is reached with the responsible editor on the return time of the revised manuscript, it will be deemed as the author’swithdrawal from getting it published. When the correspondentauthor (contact person) receives the sample from the editorial department, s/heshould carefully proofread and sign on it before sending it back.
6. This journal prioritizes the publication of articles sponsored byresearch projectsof provincial and ministerial level or above, and pays preferential remuneration. For review articles, this journal requires the author to be a PhD (or doctoral student) or to hold a senior professional title, and the content of the review article should bewithin the field thatthe authorhasstudied or is currently studying.
