The digitalization of aquaculture industry is the only way for the modernization of China's fishery industry. Based on the main ways of the integration of digital technology and aquaculture, this paper analyzes the typical cases empowered by digital technology in China, analyzes the main modes and bottlenecks of the digital development of China's aquaculture industry, and explores the basic path of the digital development of China's aquaculture industry based on relevant foreign experience, and puts forward relevant suggestions. This paper argues that in order to improve the digital development level of aquaculture industry in China, it is necessary to increase the investment and management of aquaculture data collection and utilization, support the research and development and integrated application of digital technology in aquaculture, improve the participation of farmers in the digitalization process of aquaculture, and strengthen the research and formulation of policies related to the digitalization of aquaculture.
