Abstract:

Two species of genus Merlinius Siddiqi,1970: Merlinius montanus Maqbool & Shahina,1987 and Merlinius brevidens (Allen, 1955) Siddiqi,1970 were described in this paper. They were all extracted from rhizosphere soil of potatos in China. M.montanus is a new record species in China and M.brevidens a new record species in Shaanxi Province,China.
