    Abstract:

    The concentration of PA1b in several plants including pea,taro,ginger,tomato,bitter gourd,garlic,onion,towel gourd and cucumbers was measured by competitive inhibiting enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method to study the role of pea albumin 1b (PA1b) during the development of plants.The results show that the pea contains much more PA1b than other plants do,and the PA1b content reduces with the germination time.
