Temple garden is facing increasingly serious problems with the rapid development of the city.The Gude Temple in Wuhan City was used to analyze the situations of urban temple gardens,causes of its problems and integral protection.It is advised that the protection of temple garden in city should combine with buddhist culture,traditional temple garden culture,aesthetic concept of modern city dwellers and its rational development and utilization of urban temple garden to coordinate with the modern urban development and to better adapt to the changes in city life.
