Six pepper varieties resistant to CMV-HB at different levels were crossed in a completely dialleled scheme.The results showed that the resistance to CMV-HB in pepper was controlled by polygenes with additive-dominant effects.There is no significant reciprocal effect of hybrids between parental lines.For pepper breeding,only parents having high levels of resistance can produce high resistance F1 hydrids.
