The resistance to Sclerotinia sclerotiorum of the transgenic Arabidopsis T2-positive plant with glycosyl transferase gene SM-Ngt1 from tobacco was identified by inoculating of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum pathogen. The levels of expression of SM-Ngt1 in the transgenic Arabidopsis T2-positive was determined through real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (RT-PCR).The results showed that SM-Ngt1 was resistant to sclerotium disease in Arabidopsis and the level of resistance was obviously consisted with the expression of SM-Ngt1 in the transgenic Arabidopsis.
