In order to promote the further research on citrus industry economy in China in the new-developing period, this thesis divides the current research on citrus industry economy in China into three stages: initial development (before 1999), steady development (1999-2007) and rapid development (2007 to present), as well as reviewing the development process of citrus industry economy research in China at each stage. This thesis comprehensively sums up the main domestic research achievements in terms of four aspects: production and industrial technology economy, consumption circulation and market, foreign trade and international trade, and industrial macro development and policies, finding that the researches on citrus industry economy in China mainly focus on technical and economic analysis, market price analysis, international trade competitiveness analysis and industrial macro development. By integrating theory with practice and the continuously in-depth research, the researches on cirtus industry economy in China have gained continuous growing teams and richer achievements.In the future, the in-depth researches will develop in the direction of transformation and upgrading path of improving quality and efficiency, supply and demand adaptability, citrus industry database construction, research of early warning mechanism for sales, together with international trade environment and policies, etc.
