In order to promote the urbanization of rural areas and the modernization of peasantry life, and to obtain the construction land index from rural areas, local governments actively promote peasantry to live in new communities from villages, which reconstructs the living space of peasantry. The commodification, social stratification, co-ownership, and multiple rules of “Village-Turned-Community” space imply that they face more complex public affairs and more diverse interest subjects. Peasantry who lack the right to participate in the production stage of “Village-Turned-Community” space, compete with rural cadres in the use of public space after moving into new communities. Based on the property rights, livelihood and compensatory reasons, they employed strategy of expediency and mobility to modify the government’s one-way governance framework of peasantry life , shaping the “mobility” landscape of community public space. In the reconstruction of the spatial order of the “Village-Turned-Community”, the mobility balance mechanism through subject interaction has the following practical implications: it is necessary to establish the dominant position of peasantry’s participation in the construction and management of their own living space in the modernization transformation process of peasantry’ living space,so as to form a dynamic new social space governance community through sufficient government-society interaction.
