Abstract:Based on the incomplete cross-regional agricultural machinery market, the quasi-natural experiment method is used to divide the agricultural machinery service market into two market situations:cross-regional operation and noncross-regional operation.Using 1440 samples of agricultural machinery harvesting service of farmers in Hubei Province, this paper studied the influence of cross-regional operation of agricultural machinery on service acquisition of farmers by PSM Model. Results show:The average price of agricultural machinery harvesting service for farmers in the cross-regional service market is 11.026~12.931 yuan/mu lower than that in the non-crossregional service market. There is heterogeneity in the impact of agricultural machinery service acquisition on farmers of different scale in cross-regional operation, which can be shown in the fact that the large-scale farmers have more advantages in price and feasibility of service acquisition, and cross-regional operation does not significantly reduce small-scale farmers’ service price.Comparatively, the short-distance cross-regional operation can significantly reduce the price and difficulty of service acquisition. Therefore,it is suggested to coordinate farmers’ demand for machinery harvesting service, expand cross-regional service scale, build a market information platform for the transfer of supply and demand information on machinery service, and encourage cross-regional operation service within appropriate radius.
