Abstract:Based on the survey data of 2033 poor households in B Town,W County,Anhui Province, the dual logistic model was used to analyze the effect of poverty alleviation on heterogeneous poor households by infrastructure investment, industrial poverty alleviation and pair work. The results show that the effect of infrastructure investment on poor households with lower poverty alleviation ability is more significant, and the long-term effect is better than the short-term effect. Industrial poverty alleviation is remarkably useful particularly when the government-supported industries give preferential treatment to the poor households with lower poverty alleviation ability. In addition, financial poverty alleviation can facilitate industrial development, and the corresponding poverty reduction effect is more significant on poor households with lower poverty alleviation ability. External pair work is testified to be more effective than pair work inside the village, especially to poor households with higher poverty alleviation ability, whose poverty elimination rate could reach 10%,yet less influential to poor households with lower poverty alleviation ability. Therefore,it is highly recommended to be realistic, practical and resourceful to consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation and accelerate the rural revitalization.
