Fairness is the core concept in the field of social security.Social insurance system naturally has the mission of promoting social fairness.Whether participation in social insurance improves the sense of social fairness has always been an important theoretical topic and practical proposition.Based on the data released by Chinese General Social Survey (CGSS) 2015 in early 2018,the Ordered Logit Regression Model was established to study the impacts of the participation in basic endowment insurance and basic medical insurance on social fairness.The conclusions are as follows:Different combinations of social insurance disregarded,the sense of social fairness of the participants in the basic medical insurance is 17% higher than that of the non-participants,and the sense of social fairness of the people participating in the basic endowment insurance is 6.60% higher than that of the non-participants; different combinations of social insurance regarded,people having different combinations of other social insurance can significantly improve their awareness of social fairness compared with those participating in none of the two social insurances,and the sense of social fairness of two social insurances participants is 28.10% higher than that of the nonparticipants.A thorough analysis reveals that:From the perspective of improving the social welfare system,fairness of starting point,process and result of the social insurance system should be comprehensively considered; from the perspective of perfecting the social governance,it is necessary to cultivate and develop a correct view of fairness.
