Beautiful countryside is not only the foundation of constructing a beautiful China,but also the precondition of promoting the construction of ecological civilization and a new socialist countryside.Based on the concept and connotation of beautify countryside,this paper analyses beauty from five layers,namely governess,development,harmony,ecology and culture.It further selects 24 representative indicators to construct the evaluation system and uses TOPSIS to make an empirical study of the achievements attained in recent seven years (2008-2014) in Zhejiang Province.The study finds that the beautiful countryside in Zhejiang Province has achieved remarkable results,which have been exhibited in political progress,economic development,social harmony,ecological civilization,cultural heritage,etc.
