Taking whether migrant workers participate in social pension insurance as the dependent variable,this paper uses the binary logistic regression method to make analysis of factors affecting migrant workers’ willingness to participate in social pension insurance.Also it analyzes the influencing factors of migrant workers’ choice of social pension insurance type by means of correlation analysis.According to the analysis result,age,the average time migrant workers work every year,whether the company pays insurance for workers,and family members’ participation in insurance are the four factors which have significant influence on whether migrant workers participate in pension insurance; and factors including age,education level,occupation,number of sons in family,whether the company pays insurance for workers,and satisfaction of institution influence migrant workers’ choice of social pension insurance type significantly.
