Abstract:Based on 117 valid samples of rice and 132 valid samples of noodles from 7 supermarkets in Wuhan,this paper uses Hedonic price model based on Principal Component Analysis to assess the effect of green label,pollution-free label,organic certification and geographical indications on grain price and value-added degree.The result shows that green label,pollution-free label,organic certification and geographical indications have positive effect on the price of rice while green label and quality label have positive effect on noodles.In conclusion,the research on eco-labeling grain not only promotes pricing of food products but also enhances consumer’s cognition of ecological awareness of food products.Meanwhile,it improves the farmers’ enthusiasm to plant ecological grain so as toimprove ecological environment of farmland.
