Professor Xiao Hong- en started to research Tujia philosophy in 1986,and he has made great achievements in the study field of Tujia philosophy in the past 20 years,most importantly, his book History of Tujia Philosophy which covers 0.8 million words,was published by People’s Publishing House in 2009,which made the study on Tujia philosophy to reach a new peak.Therefore,it can be even said that professor Xiao Hong- en is the first person in the study of Tujia philosophy.Nowadays,study on Tujia is facing so many arduous tasks,such as raising the theoretical level,promoting economic and social sustainable development in Tujia areas,collaborative research and so on.We sincerely hope that professor Xiao Hong- en will make more brilliant achievements in the process of finishing this difficult research task.
