Most works of Professor Fei Xiaotong are considered as the classics of Sociology and Anthropology and are fully studied by scholars in this field. However, his research in rural finance hasn’t been given due attention for a long time. Through the interpretation and reconstruction of his relevant works，this paper concludes that his works have the significance in financial sociology, which can provide guidance and reference for the current research. His perspectives and research methods are still the important resources of Sociology of Finance even though some of his specific conclusions may be outdated.
