Cultural differences between urban and rural areas make the level of basic socialization of college students from rural areas lower.There must be role incongruence,role conflict,role strain and role failure etc,in their continuous socialization,because of their low cognitive level,low comprehending and role-play ability.Through the comparison of the cultural differences between urban and rural areas,the causes that lead to the role incongruence of college students from rural areas were analyzed.On this basis,suggestions were made on the harmonious reconstruction of multiple roles of college students from rural areas by eli minating the cultural differences and promoting cultural integration of urban and rural areas,so as to realize the healthy development of rural students and maintain social and university stability.
