This paper discussed the general mechanism and route from the development economists about how the ideological conception influences the economic growth and economic development.This paper also explained the concrete mechanism and route that the backward thoughts caused the poverty of farmers.From the reflection of China's anti-poverty process,this paper concluded that the poor's backward self-thought quality is the root of poverty and put forward the policy suggestions on how "the thought opposes poverty"
