The formation of any culture is the result of specific natural conditions,economic situations and social structures.As far as the traditional Chinese culture is concerned,there mainly exist such fundamental characters as ethics orientation,values of seeking for harmony and maintaining equilibrium,great vitality and inclusiveness as well as the tendency of emphasizing Confucian classics and ignoring natural science.Whereas,American social culture mostly possesses the distinctive characteristics as follows : multi-source of culture,pioneering spirits,values of independence,equality and democracy,typical openingness and striking expansionism.
