By analyzing the learners' needs and ability in autonomous learning assisted by computers,and comparing the characteristics of traditional classroom instruction with CALL,this paper evaluates the teaching ability under the new model.It points out that the new model requires the higher adaptability and capability of teachers to conduct CALL effectively and efficiently.Based on the analysis,this paper suggests three main learning tasks for teachersbeing skillful in operating computer,capable of cultivating metacognitive strategies in CALL and rationally designing classroom teaching and linking the content in classroom instruction and CALL.
