This paper discusses the translation of euphemism from the perspective of domesticating translation and foreignizing translation,pointing out that euphemism prefers the foreignizing translation to convey the cultural contents in the source domain.In the second part,the paper argues that the translation of paradox should follow the principle of connection/creation and the translation of oxymoron should follow the principle of selection/substitution.
