CPC has made great efforts to solve Taiwan issue and promote the unification of motherland in the past 50 years. Group leaders of four generations of CPC consistently adhere to the important ideological and theoretical principles: adhere to the principle and maintain the sovereignty, peaceful unification to promote the development, seek truth from facts and keep pace with the times. These principles fully reflect the succession of solving Taiwan issue and also reflect the determination and sincerity of developing the relationships between Taiwan and mainland China and promoting the unification of motherland by CPC and Chinese government. Thus the sovereignty and territorial integrity of China can be maintained.
